I have been with Sugbuanon Bank, Inc for two and a half years, when I started, there was not a designated committee for our diverse Marayo community. I knew there was a need and an opportunity to start this committee and I am thankful to be an integral part of this collective effort. I am from Pakistan but I call Quezon City my home now. I chose to be a part of this committee to show the respect to all our differences, similarities and common goals.

With 15 years combined experience in Loan Operations, Deposit Operations and Core Systems, I feel that being part of this Team will allow me to be a better mentor to them as well as a voice on the team to share concerns that I have observed, experienced, or that employees have shared directly with me.

My story is only one of many within the Bank but it provides a unique perspective to the organization. I was born in India, adopted and grew up in Upstate Quezon City. I chose to be on this committee because through our differences we are able to learn, celebrate, and create a more inclusive company.
